TEFL Hero 120-Hour Online TEFL Course

I have enjoyed the course and it's content. I learned a lot more than I thought I would. I would definitely recommend it to others who have a passion for teaching students. I really needed to focus on the content and although it was challenging at first, I eventually started to grasp and learn everything clearly.

If you are someone who's interested in securing a certificate in TEFL, this course will not disappoint. It offers a wealth of information and support throughout. It's well-structured, easy to navigate, and filled with practical resources and activities. Whenever I needed additional information or clarification, I simply emailed the tutor who always followed up in a timely manner. I am currently enrolled in another course with TEFL Hero, and I am loving every bit of it. I am so glad that I chose this company.

TEFLHero does an excellent job in all areas. The emphasis on learning/teaching was welcome, as other resources exist to brush up on technical aspects of the English Language. Key information is provided in a clear, organized manner. It is repeated often, demonstrating the very techniques the course tries to communicate. While I still have much to learn, this course has given me a superb foundation on which to build.

I would say the course was very practical and easy to study. It shows you how to make a lesson plan for students, in addition you also learn about psychology and different learning and teaching methods. The course is made for you to succeed. I've been teetering back and forth with the idea of teaching abroad for a while now! I decided to take this course because I had a little extra time in my otherwise hectic schedule. The owners of this course were so helpful and kind. They answered all my questions about the TEFL and using it to teach abroad. I really hope to land a job teaching in China next year!

I liked how the course was organized and easy to use. I’m not very tech savvy, so the instructions they gave for using the course were very clear. Organized in a manner that flowed, not disjointed context-wise.

I've dealt with EFL students for many years as a host for international students. I've also worked editing legal reports written by EFL agents, making them ready for court use. I also write novels, but entirely in English. It seemed like a logical option for me to explore teaching or tutoring English, but to make sure I was prepared, a certification felt like a wise move. This programme was laid out very well, in logical steps. While I was specifically focusing on online 1-on-1 work, also being made familiar with classroom, and group methods was very enlightening. The lessons were also presented in a way that they could be referenced later, which is very helpful for beginners. Being able to take it all on at one's own pace is also encouraging, letting you absorb the lessons, instead of feeling rushed through them.

Fantastic and very informative. I've been teaching ELL for 3 years but this course was so packed with information it was worth every second. Several coworkers who do not teach ELL but interact routinely with immigrants are planning on taking the course as well.

I took 120 hours, passed the course and found out a lot of interesting and detailed information, which I believe will be useful for lessons' preparation and the process of studying, although there were some minor spelling mistakes in some units.

Can not recommend highly enough. Excellent information. Clearly presented. Easy to follow. I have recommended the program to several others. I was initially concerned because other courses did not appear to offer the information and support I was hoping to find. This program could not be more perfect.

Excellent course would definitely recommend it, to anyone who wants to teach abroad or online ,very informative, explained in great detail help there if needed but I doubt you will the detailed modules are very simple to follow and at a very reasonable price aswell.

Was able to complete certificate in the amount of time I wanted to without being overwhelmed. I am not a teacher so this was also a perfect course for me as someone who works in health care. Easy registration and help available if needed although the information was easy to keep organized and retain.

In my opinion the development of this course is quite satisfactory, thoroughly explained, very clear examples, wise advice and I can tell this course was designed by experienced teachers. The academic theory clearly explained providing enough examples. The advice given is based on experience and knowledge from teachers who have been abroad. The teaching approach? Strongly focused on communicative development which I consider convenient for all ages. What I confirm is the 5 step plan which I have been practicing for a long time. Flexibility? Always. Class management ? I agree. A lot of information is based on facts. Did I enjoy this course? Of course I did. Quizzes well done, readers need to pay attention while reading, pay attention to the questions, questions can be tricky.

I loved this course. A lot of reading, but easy to understand. I feel ready and confident to teach thanks to what I learned here. I would highly recommend. I will be taking more courses here as I continue on my journey towards teaching young learners online.

The course was significantly useful to me and I started implementing the knowledge from the course into my instruction at the institution that I work at. I was happy with my decision to participate in the 120 hour course option. Prior to enrollment the provider was quick to respond to questions which was great as I often have anxiety around such things. The course was well structured and included a lot of material on things I would not have thought to consider re: teaching! Finally, the instructors were always quick to respond to my questions during the course, including concerns I had about housing and medicine abroad - what more could I ask for? I highly recommend this course and if you’re on the fence don’t be!
