Program Overview

Sustainable Bolivia hosts an afterschool program in a village located within the Aquicuana Reserve. Motivated by the idea of a cleaner school and community, we aim to include ecological workshops centered around recycling, cleaning up, and creating and managing a small garden and compost in our afterschool program. Currenty our program focuses on English education and we are looking for volunteers to help us plan and develop lessons in sustainability and ecology.

As a volunteer, your responsibilities may include:
- Preparing and implementing educational activities around environmental conservation, recycling, nature, etc.
- Preparing a project (such as play, drawing, painting, etc.) with the children, based on an environmental conservation theme
- Helping plan and supervise children on off-campus outings

This program is open to participants with lower intermediate Spanish and who can commit to at least one month. Interest or experience in environmental topics, as well as the ability to work with little supervision, is important.
