STS Foundation

Founded in 1986, STS Foundation is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to promoting international understanding through high school exchange programs. For nearly four decades, the organization has connected American host families with students from over 40 countries, creating meaningful cross-cultural experiences that foster growth, empathy, and global awareness.

Operating nationwide, STS Foundation specializes in placing international students in accredited U.S. high schools and carefully matching them with host homes. Its work supports personal development and global perspective for both students and families, with an emphasis on safety, respect, and community. The Foundation’s experienced staff and network of local coordinators provide close guidance and support throughout each exchange, ensuring a positive experience for all involved.
