Why choose Stichting Marlin Yard?

Stichting Marlin Yard is a pioneering non-profit advancing sustainable development in Sint Maarten and the wider Caribbean through regenerative agriculture, heritage restoration, and climate resilience. Our work is grounded in a practical 4R approach (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle, Repurpose) that connects circular systems, land stewardship, and community-led innovation. Our subsidiary, Vicky’s Keys (VK), has transitioned from a traditional volunteer center to Sint Maarten’s first Heritage Agrarian Campus—a living classroom and practicum site connected to HAICI (Heritage Agrarian Institute of Caribbean Innovation), our online agriculture school. VK is the epicenter where participants learn by doing: restoring land, strengthening climate-smart food systems, and turning field experience into skills, tools, and knowledge applicable across the region. Our campus season runs November to June. Programs include agrarian sessions, demonstrations, applied projects, and community-facing initiatives such as Food Farm Gardens and the early development of a CSA (community-supported agriculture) model.
