Heritage Agrarian Campus Residency: Foundations (L1)
Program Overview
Description (≤1200 characters)
Based in Sint Maarten, Vicky’s Keys (VK) is the island’s first Heritage Agrarian Campus—a structured residency and learning hub focused on regenerative agriculture, biodiversity, climate resilience, and heritage restoration.
The Heritage Agrarian Foundations Residency (L1) is our signature entry program. Residents join a weekly rhythm that blends guided agrarian learning sessions, field participation, community contribution, and an applied mini-project aligned with campus priorities (e.g., soil health, biodiversity monitoring, water stewardship, food farm systems, and documentation).
This is not a volunteer exchange placement. Participation is through a structured residency model with clear expectations, supervision, and on-campus accommodation (subject to availability). The residency is designed for motivated learners, emerging practitioners, and impact-oriented participants who want a grounded, hands-on experience in a small-campus environment.
Minimum stay: 4 weeks (campus season runs Nov–Jun). Strong candidates may be invited to extend into advanced pathways (L2–L4) depending on goals, experience, and campus needs.
