Classical Studies Summer Program in the Eternal City of Rome
Spend your summer immersed in the Classics, where you’ll explore fascinating ideas while building critical thinking, analytical, communication, and language skills. Coursework is enhanced by fun excursions, such as gelato crawls, scavenger hunts, beach days, museum visits, interactive workshops & more! City of Rome Multi-disciplinary study of ancient Rome, exploring its history, politics, art, archaeology, economy, geography, and environment, students examine Roman culture and society through monuments, museums, and primary sources, learning to interpret archaeology, art, and architecture as reflections of social, political, and religious life, with field trips and group work to enrich the learning experience. Latin 1 Introductory language course through modern, immersive methods, with grammar and vocabulary taught through readings to develop introductory-level understanding while exploring all aspects of ancient Rome. A minimum CEFR B2 English level is sufficient Classical Studies Summer Program: -Ages: 11 to 14 -Dates: 16 June to 3 July, 2026 -Fees: €2,350 (includes: all course materials, local transport, excursions, and daily lunch/snacks)
