Journalism & Media Internship in Ghana
Program Overview
Are you an aspiring journalist, storyteller, or digital content creator eager to make an impact in Ghana? Or passionate about journalism and looking to build your portfolio, gain experience, or work with dynamic news platforms in Ghana?
SMWEF Ghana is offering a unique opportunity for interns who want to sharpen their skills, gain hands-on experience, and work with a team that values fearless, fact-based journalism. Good communication skills are needed for this project in Ghana.
With opportunities available within newspapers, TV, and radio, you’ll gain your first hands-on experience in Ghana’s media culture. This journalism and media internship program gives you a valuable insight into the industry while helping to support under-funded newspapers, TV networks, and radio stations. Working alongside local journalists will give you a genuine and diverse taste of the environment in which you are reporting, and you’ll no doubt cover a number of eye-opening issues that are unique to Ghana.
A media placement is intended for volunteers who are seeking or already have experience in the industry. Both aspiring reporters and media professionals are warmly welcomed.
