Small classes great instruction

Silk mandarin has small class sizes and great instruction to help you supercharge your Chinese language learning. I studied in Suzhou, I think it is a smaller campus. Very nice staff and great support. There were activities and events. Suzhou is smaller if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Shanghai. Same quality of education.

Silk Mandarin Review

I have just completed HSK 1 level Chinese training at Silk Mandarin and can highly recommend this language school. Their blended learning concept, that combines onsite and online live classes with online self-studying modules is ideal and provides a high degree of flexibility. My teacher, Christina, is highly qualified, friendly and patient. The school provides great service. Upon first contact, they will assess your language skills and provide fully customized class options to you. If you want to learn Chinese, sign up at Silk Mandarin!

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to all the most common questions about Silk Mandarin - Language Training Institute.

When is the best time to apply for a camp program?

We recommend applying as early as possible to secure a spot for your child, as spaces can fill up quickly. Ideally, applications should be submitted 3 to 6 months before the camp start date. This allows ample time for visa processing, preparation, and any additional paperwork. Early application also gives you priority in selecting session dates and ensures time for your child to get familiar with camp expectations.

What are your teachers like? Are they native speakers?

Our teachers are highly qualified and experienced in teaching Mandarin to non-native speakers. They are passionate about teaching and create a dynamic, engaging, and interactive learning environment. Their goal is to make language learning fun while helping each child develop confidence in using Mandarin in real-life situations.

What visa do I need, and what is the visa application process like?

For most students, a tourist visa (L visa) is sufficient to attend our camp in China. We provide a detailed guide to help you through the visa application process, including an invitation letter from the camp and other required documentation. We recommend starting the application at least two months before your departure date.

What happens if my child gets sick?

If your child becomes ill during the camp, we have qualified medical staff on-site to provide immediate care. For more serious conditions, we are partnered with local hospitals and medical clinics to ensure that professional medical treatment is readily available. We will contact you immediately to keep you informed about your child’s condition and consult with you on any next steps. Our priority is the health and well-being of every camper.

Is airport pickup available? How does it work?

Yes, we provide airport pickup for all arriving campers. Upon your child’s arrival at the designated airport, our staff will be waiting to greet them with clearly identifiable camp signs. Our team will ensure that your child is safely escorted to the camp in comfortable, supervised transportation. We will send you confirmation when your child has arrived safely at the camp.
