About SHRESTHA

Society for Health, Education, and Vocational Training for Slum, Street, and Poor Orphan Children (SHRESTHA) is an organization based in Jaipur and established in 2010 under the Rajasthan Society Registration Act.1958. Our primary aim is to help and support orphans, runaway, slum, and street children in Jaipur through daily activities that range from teaching core subjects (such as English and Mathematics) to health and hygiene. We also conduct slum visits, wherein we accompany kids to their homes.

We run programs that fulfill Referral; Rehabilitation; Vocational Training; Skill Building; STI, HIV/AIDS Counseling; Socio-Psychological; and Educational needs. In turn, we are able to create opportunities for personal development, turning these children into responsible citizens and helping them integrate into the society. With the support of government departments and agencies, as well as volunteers, we are able to achieve our goal to improve lives in Jaipur.
