Sharklife Marine Biology Internship

Situated in the vibrant Zulu Kingdom of South Africa, this internship provides adventurous students an exceptional opportunity to gain practical experience at a dedicated marine research field station. Participants actively contribute to every phase of our research, building essential skills through hands-on training, comprehensive learning, and immersive boat-based fieldwork out on the open sea. Also open to volunteers, the program includes two- to six-hour field trips focused on gathering data and swapping out equipment to support the Field Station’s ongoing projects. These excursions offer essential, hands-on exposure to the marine environment, helping participants build practical skills and gain insights that are valuable across numerous ocean-related career fields.
