Rural to Action Organization is a registered, non-profit, community-based organization working towards empowering young minds and creating sustainable social impact in rural communities in Kenya. Started in 2022 as a peer mentorship group for teen mothers guided by mentors. The group was then officially registered under the Community Groups Registration Act No. 30 of 2022 and the Kenyan Constitution as Community-Based Organization Registration No: CBO/HUD/HB/0449/2023. Founded on values of compassion, inclusivity, and sustainability, Rural to Action is devoted to breaking the cycles of school-age hunger among children in rural primary schools and poverty through youth economic empowerment and access to health. Rural to Action envisions enhancing the lives of children and youths in rural Homa Bay communities.
