About the Program: Based near Hanoi in Northern Vietnam, this placement supports youth education in low-income communities. Volunteers work alongside local educators to foster students’ development through English literacy, performing arts, digital skills, and leadership—focusing on capacity building and long-term empowerment. Target Community: The program works with children and youth (ages 6–17) in the Lang Son province and surrounding areas who face barriers to quality education. Despite their potential and motivation, limited resources restrict their opportunities and prospects. The Challenge: Due to financial and situational barriers, some students lack access to quality education in Vietnam. The issue is not motivation, but limited resources and opportunity. Still, both students and teachers remain resilient, making confidence-building and hope for the future essential. Our Partnership: ReCoding Vietnam collaborates with local and international partners to expand education and opportunity. By developing a versatile set of skills, the program supports pathways to employment, empowerment, and long-term community growth, while fostering hope for future generations.
