Volunteer in Luangprabang-Laos

We are a local volunteer organization, and our headquarters are based in Luang Prabang, where our project is located; thus, we do not have Western "overhead costs." We are cheaper than most organizations. We started as a small volunteer placement to support local education in Luang Prabang to help local people to have a better future. All the volunteer donation fees go directly to support our local community.

Volunteers differ from tourists in their purpose and mindset. While tourists seek to be served, volunteers are here to serve. As a volunteer, it’s important to integrate into the needs of the project, rather than expecting the project to revolve around your expectations. You are encouraged to contribute where support is most needed – even if that means stepping into roles you hadn’t initially anticipated. Adaptability, initiative, and a positive 

Yes! You will both need to fill out an application form individually. Just make sure to add in the ‘extra information’ box, the name of your travelling companion.

No, Volunteer in Laos does not provide any kind of Travel or Medical Insurance to its Volunteers. You are advised to purchase travel insurance before leaving your home country.
