Research & Data Collection Internship in Kenya

The quality of community data directly shapes the programs that serve people living in poverty. This internship puts you at the centre of that process. You’ll conduct interviews, gather field data, analyse findings, and produce reports that help a grassroots organization in Likoni, Mombasa understand what’s working, what isn’t, and where to improve. It’s hands-on research with real consequences for real programs.

Mombasa is one of Kenya’s most captivating cities, with layers of Swahili, Arab, and African history built up over centuries. The beaches along the Indian Ocean coast are among Kenya’s best, and the city’s food and culture make it easy to feel at home quickly. Interns consistently rate Mombasa as one of the most memorable places they’ve lived.
