Program Overview
Support a grassroots nonprofit in Mombasa, Kenya through the fundraising and partnership work that helps keep community programs running, no matter where you’re based.
As a Fundraising & Partnerships Intern, you’ll contribute to donor research, grant writing, crowdfunding campaigns, and partnership outreach for an organization working with ultra-poor communities in Likoni. This internship is available fully remote, hybrid, or onsite, making it one of the most flexible programs in the Roots portfolio.
Interns who travel to Mombasa will experience one of East Africa’s most culturally rich cities, known for its Swahili heritage, vibrant markets, and easy access to the Indian Ocean.
