This program places you with a conservation-focused nonprofit that works to create long-lasting change in our relationship with the Amazon by uplifting the communities that live there. Their aim is to create new job opportunities in Puerto Inca that don’t rely on destruction of the rainforest - help to break the cycle of poverty, reduce the need for activities like logging and illegal mining - whilst incentivising sustainable development.
