Working at Yanacocha
July 26, 2025by: DellaProgram: Biology Research Internship in PeruYanacocha is a truly special place. I had an incredible time interning there for a month. I was able to have hands on interactions with incredible animals, learn about how to care for them, feed them, and I even got to choose one animal to train one on one during my time there. The accommodations are good, Puyo is a nice city, and the people who work and volunteer at Yanacocha are amazing. I definitely recommend this experience for people who truly love animals.
