Stay in the most Mexican of cities, Guadalajara—where Tequila, sombreros, mariachi music, and rodeo riders originated.
Attend a soccer fiesta followed by a meal of tortas ahogadas (pork rolls drowned in chili sauce)—two activities you definitely must experience!
Visit a small town with a group of volunteers and become the star of the local festival; in Mexico, anything's possible!
Get away from it all—find a good map and a bus schedule, and then head for the beaches, hills, jungles, or mountains.
Get off the beaten track in Mexico and soon find yourself walking up to ancient pyramids, watching whales, trekking through jungles, or surfing Pacific Coast waves.

April 14, 2022by: India WildmanProgram: Projects Abroad in MexicoI’ve loved my time in La Paz, have learnt a lot about local marine life from Pablo and have learnt to dive thanks to Carey Dive Centre! I feel like this trip has put me in the right stepping stones for my future. I have loved living with the host Edgar he is so welcoming and it feels like we’ve had a proper Mexican experience. La Paz is great for shopping and restaurants so plenty to do in our free time.
