Medical Internship in Peru for Teenagers
Program Overview
Ready to kickstart your medical career with a world-class adventure? Head to the ancient Inca capital of Cusco for an internship designed specifically for students ages 16-18. You’ll live with a local host family for a total immersion into Peruvian life, working alongside a global group of teens who share your passion for medicine.
In the clinic, you’ll shadow professional doctors and nurses in regional hospitals to see what healthcare is really like in a developing country. You’ll join workshops to master skills like taking vitals and blood sugar, then put that training to use during community health campaigns.
When you aren't at the hospital, you’ll be taking Spanish lessons, exploring vibrant local markets, and bonding with new friends.
