On your arrival, you will be picked up at the airport before being transferred to your orientation venue. The two-week orientation in Chiang Mai is your chance to prepare yourself for the placement, as it is focused on teaching essentials. As part of this orientation, you will also undergo your TEFL training and enjoy four observed teaching practices with real students. At the end of your placement period, you will then receive your 120 hour TEFL certificate. Placements vary from kindergarten (anubahn), primary school (pratom), secondary school (matayom), and colleges across Thailand.
