Education Volunteer in Nepal

As an Education Volunteer in Nepal, you will work side by side with local teachers and school communities to grow English language skills from the ground up. In rural and peri-urban government schools, you will teach grades 4 through 7, model effective classroom practices, and help teachers feel more confident using English every day. Your work will also focus on making sure female students feel equally supported and encouraged to participate and succeed in the classroom. Beyond daily lessons, you will help organize after-school clubs, camps, and mentoring programs that give students extra time to practice and grow. You may also tutor individual students, run digital literacy workshops, or connect local students with pen pals in the United States.
