Multi-Project Volunteer
Program Overview
Volunteering with us lets you contribute to community projects in English teaching, environmental education, youth activities, and animal welfare. All multi-project volunteers support our four HELP programmes at the REC in Cerrito de la Virgen: HELP English, HELP Environment, HELP Youth, and HELP Literacy.
You can also join activities such as Global Glow (girls’ empowerment), homework support, English classes in schools and the library, helping at the dog shelter, small renovation projects, or library inventory.
This hands-on role is great for those who enjoy working with children and want insight into NGO work. Living in Huanchaco, a friendly surf town, also offers cultural immersion and plenty of chances to meet new people. The position includes strong exposure to Spanish, ideal for speakers or learners.
Volunteers with specific skills can take on more responsibility as HELP Project Coordinators. All roles are available as internships, with extra mentorship and academic support.
