Youth Care/Street Children Projects in Ghana

Help Our Generation Voluntary Organisation and its partner organization in Ghana provide support, care, and life skills to children who are in dire need. Volunteers work with street children and help raise their quality of life through teaching and promoting personal hygiene, among other activities. Although the country is rich in natural resources, Ghana has an ever-growing disparity between rich and poor, which has resulted in a significant portion of the population living in poverty. Things tend to significantly get worse for children, whose poor health and sanitation have contributed to child homelessness, high infant mortality, and low life expectancy rates.
