Volunteer Abroad as a Family
Program Overview
Volunteering as a family is a life-changing experience. It is a unique way to spend time with your loved ones while immersing yourself in the local culture and language and making a positive impact on the local community you are in.
Our Generation Voluntary Organisation offers incredibly safe, enriching, international volunteering opportunities for families. All of our programs include planning and support, safe travel and accommodations, meaningful volunteer service, genuine opportunities for cultural immersion, and instruction in the local language. We welcome children from four and upwards on our family projects, although on specific projects, the age might be a little older.
When you make international volunteering a family activity, you give your kids access to a world way beyond what they see every day. They become immersed in a new culture and learn the value of personal responsibility and commitment. The whole family is brought closer together as they expand their horizons and become global citizens.
If you are traveling with 10 or more people, one family member goes free.
