Nursing School Elective in Ghana with OGVO
Program Overview
An ideal program for nursing students, this Elective placement lets you encounter medical conditions not normally experienced in Western countries. Among these are typhoid and malaria, which seem to be daily cases. You will also come into contact with different nursing methods; hence, there will be plenty for you to learn and experience.
Upon your arrival, an OGVO coordinator and a placement supervisor (who is also a hospital staff member) will discuss with you the work schedule, as well as your specialty in a specific area of nursing.
Joining a Nursing Elective with OGVO in Ghana provides plenty of valuable, lifetime experiences to take with you in your career. Plus, you will find that hospitals make for an excellent platform to improve your knowledge and skills. Shadow one of our supervisors who speaks English and are very experienced at working with nursing students. They will be ready to challenge your nursing experience and impart their training and knowledge.
