Criminal and Civil Law Volunteer Program

Participants in this Our Generation Voluntary Organisation volunteer program will be provided with all legal and solicitation training relating to criminal and civil law adjudication in Ghana and Africa more broadly. The program provides an opportunity for students considering law school to work within a law firm, observe what lawyers actually do in their daily activities, and perform a variety of tasks that will help them determine if they have the desire, capabilities, and temperament to become a lawyer. Most of the law firms where interns are placed have more than 35 years of experience and expertise, and their lawyers are well-known and reputable. Volunteers are assigned to either one or two attorneys in the trial division.
