This unique trekking adventure offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute directly to the conservation of Namibia’s critically endangered desert-adapted elephants. It also supports the local communities that share this arid landscape. The journey begins near the base of the Brandberg Mountain, Namibia’s highest peak, and travels northwest through sweeping dunes toward the dramatic Doros Crater. From there, the route heads west to the remote Hyena Camp before looping south to end at the scenic Ugab River. Spanning approximately 125 kilometers, the route winds through some of Namibia’s most remote and stunning desert terrain.
