From start to finish great organization

This program was very well organized. Meiji’s staff did an outstanding job in assisting all my queries. My homestay was so much fun that I kept in touch with my host family and promised to visit again when I come to Sapporo. The lessons were well prepared and I loved my study pace, which suited me the best. With only four other classmates I felt the small class size combined with a strong focus on speaking practice worked wonders for me. What else can I say besides the activities were abundant and very enjoyable. Make sure you try their “Night Parfait” strolling event. Attention! Gaining weight is guaranteed in Hokkaido with all the yummy delights, not an exception!!!

A Perfect Balance of Language Study and Cultural Discovery

Even though my course lasted only two weeks, I experienced so much in this short time. The cultural activities after class like calligraphy and the chocolate factory visit were awesome. The Japanese classes were small and interactive with plenty of chances to speak and ask questions. My teacher was patient, encouraging, and really good at explaining grammar in a way that made sense. I think you need to be culturally aware with the many hidden rules but the school made it all so smooth to adapt to my new environment. Just too bad that it ended all so quick...

Euer Bernd
