Maximo Nivel’s Micro-Business Internships in Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Peru place you alongside local small-business owners, artisans, and startup founders driving economic growth. You’ll work hands-on across Marketing, Sales & Client Services, Accounting, and more. In many cases, international interns work with in-country entrepreneurs to help them improve their companies and expand their capacity to market to and serve international clients.
During your internship, you gain real-world business experience, increase your knowledge of business vocabulary in Spanish, and improve your ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking clients and colleagues. You can also have access to Maximo Nivel’s immersive Spanish classes to help boost your fluency.
Interns can earn transferable academic credits through our official School of Record.
