Who you will work with: You will be volunteering with MARWACODI and its leader, Olivia, who will introduce you to the programs, communities, and beneficiaries. You will work in villages and schools. The communities you will serve are mostly rural, living off small-scale agriculture, casual labour, and informal services. In the Health and Hygiene program, you will primarily work with teenagers and children (ages 5-16). Living in poverty, some of them do not go to school, but are eager to meet visitors and participate in your activities.
