The Field Station Experience

Activities range from wildlife monitoring—monkey surveys, bird counts, reptile transects—to supporting conservation science through insect collection, camera trap analysis, and bioacoustic libraries. You’ll also assist with station operations, reforestation, and research support, while engaging in community outreach and species discovery.

Located within a 150,000-ha protected area, Los Amigos offers access to diverse habitats, cutting-edge conservation technology, and mentorship from experienced scientists.
