We empower under-served families and communities in Guatemala to be healthy, educated and self-reliant. You can help. Local Hope Guatemala has been hosting organized group service trips to the western highlands of Guatemala for more than 30 years, and is now offering two-week (or longer) trips for individuals, families or small groups to volunteer at their convenience. Founded in 1992, Local Hope, is a not-for-profit organization that provides a range of important services -- spanning healthcare, education, career development and related support -- to largely indigenous populations in poverty belts in Guatemala.
