Volunteer in Tanzania with Kirua Lasso Women's Group

This isn't a program where you observe from a distance. The Kirua Lasso Women's Group placement puts you inside the community — living with a Tanzanian host family and working directly with women and widows in villages and cities across the Kilimanjaro region. Your role is to help women access business funding and education loans, and to train them in building sustainable income so they can provide for their families. You'll work within organized community support programs alongside local leaders who know these communities deeply. The homestay is included in the program fee and is what sets this experience apart.
