Wildlife Sanctuary Volunteering in Victoria Falls
Program Overview
Are you adventurous, flexible, and passionate about wildlife conservation and securing the future of African lions?
Join the Lion and Wildlife Sanctuary Volunteering project and work at the forefront of conservation initiatives and wildlife care in Victoria Falls. Together with a local team, you will focus on rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned and injured animals, and providing a safe and permanent home for wildlife that cannot survive in the wild.
As a lion and wildlife sanctuary volunteer, you will engage in activities that will help create a healthy and diverse ecosystem within a private game reserve. You will also assist with outreach initiatives to raise awareness of conservation issues within the community and local schools.
There are no specific skills required for this program. You should have a passion for wildlife, be reasonably fit, and be prepared to get up early. It is also important that you are adaptable and have good communication skills.
