My knowledge of English is enhanced. My basic knowledge is about nouns, pronouns, adjectives, and verbs. I understand Adverb now, also. I also learned that knowing your audience in terms of age, background, culture, and the like is very important when teaching English. I completed my 120-hour TEFL course with International TEFL & TESOL Institution and fully paid for it. Despite this, they kept trying to deduct money from my account. My bank confirmed the daily R3 charges were fees caused by their declined debit attempts, and they even tried to take R783. Most shockingly, today they attempted to take R16,000 from my account. When I reported this by email, they ignored me. Communication was good before I signed up, but afterwards there has been none. I also never received the job assistance they promised. Very disappointed and would strongly warn others against this institution.

But what I loved the most was how short and bite sized the course was. I didn't feel so overwhelmed. I loved the level 3 certificate. Each topic was interesting and relevent. The assignments had clear direction and where accessible. The support was good if you had questions. It was an accessible course and not hard to complete, especially for native English speakers or proficient in English (the grammar portions would be the hardest for foreign speakers). But the course contained valuable lessons. I took notes and reading through it before the final quiz really helped. I didn't need to ask for extra support, the website was easy to navigate. We will have to see how easy it is to use this certificate to get a visa overseas, but it looks like the certificate is accredited and well-acknowledged. I am glad I now have to option to teach online, as well!

TESOL/TEFL Course was very informative, relevant and their system is user friendly. The modules provided are of greate help they equip us with needed information for the exam and i liked the quizzies at the end of each module as they assisted me in checking if i understood the content and i am ready to move on to the next content or module. More than anything i am happy with the opportunities given to the students to test their understanding and knowledge about the modules.

I decided to take it the TEFL level 3 course considering the affordability & the duration. The topics, sub-topics, exercises, explanations and assignments were very well thought of and organised and easy to follow. The small activities in between kept it interesting not to forget the videos. Quizes were very practical and motivating whereas the assignments were very well explained and the feedback very helpful by the tutors. I think level 5 would be recommended for someone trying to make a career out of teaching as most of the physical jobs abroad ask for level 5 certificate. Overall, very good experience. The tutor support is really good they corrected my last assignment only in few days and were very gentle.

I find this course helpful, it contains the contents of a class, such as types of vocabulary, tenses and sentence structures. Also, some useful teaching methods like TPR, CCQ, help me to teach my students better. Additionally, I gained advice on how to set up an online classroom, including recommendations for which camera to use and which microphone to use. For teaching tools, I get to know it can be helpful to prepare props.

I am a native English speaker with a Master's degree. I found this course easy to navigate. Being able to speak and write English does not mean that you instinctively know how to teach it. The course helped me to understand how foreign speakers would need to tackle grammar and how it could be taught. I learned several things that I did not know, such as zero and 1st, 2nd and 3rd Conditional sentences. I had never deconstructed this in my life! I had to do a little bit of extra learning from the web on modal verbs to understand how these work wrt the conditional. This area of the course could be clarified a little. I am also a little unsure about how I might teach a few other elements of grammar such as when to use, who, which, that. For the tense section I made my own table and set it out in a better and more logical framework, which shows that I must be a visual learner.

The course provides a good refresher on the basics of the English language and then turns its focus to providing everything you need to get started teaching English to foreign learners. The layout is very good and allows you to read through a few lessons, even if you have as little as 20 minutes to spare in your day! Great for someone starting out who may be employed and looking to change career. As long as you can spare maybe a half and hour here and there every week you can complete this course easily

It's definitely hard work, it's dense and a lot of content, but it is all very educational and has helped to orient me on beginning my English teaching journey. I recently completed the Level 5 TEFL course and I was quite happy with the course overall. I think the course was very thorough, but also managed to cover a wide range of topics. The reading and unit tests are not that difficult, but the assignments do require quite a bit of work. Overall the course was really excellent. It provides teaching opportunities as a secondary or even primary income when I do hopefully start my online teaching. I found this program very easy to navigate. The self-pacing aspect was helpful because of my limited time so it took the pressure off of me to need to complete units by a certain date, I have worked as an ESL teacher in public schools in the U.S. for many years and found the curriculum to be quite comprehensive and yet, very much to the point. This certification is very affordable and, I believe, well worth the time. I think that this might be a little difficult for people who have no background knowledge on teaching English as a foreign language so may need to be supplemented for a total novice.

I decided to do level 5 TEFL course since it is a big plus on my further journey as a teacher in GCC countries. I found the process from the start, the On-line registration to the final submission of third and last Assignment and subsequent feedback a thoroughly professional experience. The assignments were very challenging and that is how I immediately knew this was not some fly by night course but rather a course of quality. I also found the weekly webinars which they made available to us as part of this course to be very helpful especially in completing the assignments and just understanding the course as a whole. The webinar which definitely helped me the most would be the one which was referring to how a demo lesson and introductory video should be made, I had no idea where I would begin when it came to that obstacle.

I've chosen this course because it's good value for money in comparison to other TEFL providers. It's level 5 diploma and 3 pretty time-consuming assignments are due during the course. I'm a teacher with 2 years of experience, but I can't say they are easy to do. I felt overwhelmed at times, but I am highly motivated that's why, in the end, I finished the course with Merit. It took me about 4 month to finish. Apart from the assignments everything is perfect: support, quality of content, usefulness of it, etc.

Just by visiting the website, you can see that it has been poorly put together and is clearly a fake accreditation website. The owner of the program, James Anthony Dwyer, recently had his Business Account with Paypal revoked. This was because of the shear number of customer complaints and successful chargebacks. He now uses Stripe. This program claims to offer "government-regulated" courses, but they are not regulated by anyone other than James. They are all the same course, with different names added. If you want to take a fake TEFL course that feels like an online course from the 90's, this should be your go-to choice. It is a scam through and through. Google 'ITT International TEFL and TESOL Ltd. Scam' and you will see the proof in the pudding.

When I was considering teaching, I had loads of options, but I picked International TEFL and TESOL because it looked easy enough and it was a great price. Turned out to be a great decision. The course was straightforward and user-friendly, and I with some assistance from the chat found myself going through the material without much trouble. I learned a lot from the course. From teaching methods to classroom management and all the grammar rules and words I'd forgotten. It didn’t just throw information at me and it made sure I understood each bit before leading onto the next. The quizzes and assignments were a great tool for that.

The course was much cheaper than others and it did exactly what it was advertised to do. I have used the certificate to get access to more online teaching programs which have brought me much more work than before. It took under 2 weeks to complete and I was doing it quite casually. When I signed up I had a few questions which were answered pretty promptly through online chat. I have completed my tefl level 5 with INTERNATIONAL TEFL AND TESOL. I had a great experience with this academy. The course is well defined and assessment methodology is very good. There teaching method is excellent ( they will gives lessons through videos and photos and readings text as well. I like the most grammar teaching methodology. Even the study is designed for different levels as well. I was quite astounded when first starting the Level 5 TEFL course by how extremely relative their content is in relation to educational strategies and techniques used in the classroom. I studied Education Psychology at university and the content was very similar to that of the course. The course provides all the necessary tools to become a great English teacher, such as focusing on understanding English Grammar and, more importantly, teaching pronunciation and new vocabulary to non-native English-speaking students of all ages.

Took the Level 5 course and paid US$199 for the hard copy certificate. The owner assured me that the certificate was good for all language schools in Vietnam. NONE of the schools I applied to recognized the certificate. A few of them said they had applicants with the ITT International TEFL and TESOL Ltd. certificate before and after doing online research they concluded it is propped up by a fake accreditation website. I lost a lot of time and money because of this fake TEFL program. Currently at Doha airport and waiting from my connecting flight back to the States. What a waste of time! I am embarrassed that I fell for such an obvious scam. Avoid ITT International TEFL and TESOL Ltd. Go Abroad should look at the program because it is a clear scam. Many complaints online about the program and Go Abroad.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. The information was given in a clear manner with a lot of light banter and personal stories that made it enjoyable and relatable. I learned a lot of different techniques. I completely appreciated the class videos where I could see the techniques being applied. That was very helpful to me in understanding how to implement them and how the students reacted to them. The guides were very useful in following along with the lessons. I also appreciated the worksheets which allowed me to put my thoughts in order.

Because it was remote learning, online, I wanted examples of classroom experience. Additionally, I hadn't created lesson plans in my past experience, so I wanted that to be a central feature of the program. The most challenging yet the most beneficial element of the diploma program was to analyse and study lesson planning and then designing lesson plans. It was the essential foundation set with sufficient depth and detail to prepare me for the requirements of the practicum. At no point of the course did I feel that I was required to do the same task over and over again. The difficulty of the tasks alternated at a specific point of the course which provided a break from extensive study. The observation reports based on the video clips were a great way to observe an ESL class in progress before actually doing the practicum. All in all, it was a great learning experience.

What I liked the most was how practical the online course was. Every assignment built on the previous topic and prepared me to write full lesson plans that would come in very handy for the Practicum and the job. The questions in the quiz were well chosen to test you on the knowledge you obtained from watching the video and reading the text for each unit. I enjoyed going through the courses. It actually taught me quite a bit and helped me brainstorm and strategize as to what might be effective since I'm new to the world of teaching. James writes reviews for his own program. His courses are not government regulated. He lies about donating money to charity. He owns the website that "independently accredits" his courses. At the end of the course, James charges you US$199 for the course certificate. It is a scam.

Inshallah soon, I can use my certificate to apply for Teacher position because it is one of the requirements to be a Nursery Teacher here.

This TESOL course was really interesting, informative, and very well prepared. It was a really nice experience to take this course. I really enjoyed it and learned a lot. For example, I learned a lot on the section about online teaching about the equipment and the most appropriate approaches. I also learned many new things about lesson plans that I am thinking about putting into practice as soon as possible. Everything that I learned has been very useful in teaching others. For instance, when I used the TPR to teach my little daughter I saw her smiling and repeating. All in all it was an outstanding course. Thank you very much!

Yes indeed! This was another wonderful experience I had in order to polish up the knowledge on Teaching English well with reference to a properly planned and arranged syllabus with continuous assessment and evaluation after each lesson. Plus there was a very cooperative staff who guides and supports always throughout the period. I felt that the course content is very much practical and simple to understand by anybody who is new to the subject and for sure it will be such a happening experience

Took me months to shop around and find a good and legit TESOL course. I always think twice and I research about every course I found online to make sure they are legit. Thank GOD I found this course. Seeing all the positive reviews made me decide to enroll, but taking the course and finishing it myself made me realise that I made the right choice. All the contents are so helpful in teaching ESL. Grammar lessons are great refresher. All the teaching style suggestions are so helpful and they are all applicable to teaching ESL both face to face and online. I highly recommend this course!

I have been searching for not just an affordable but a good quality online tesol course program so that I could show a certification to my students to prove that I am somehow qualified to be their ESL Online Teacher. This course has helped me broaden my career path as an English teacher in my hometown. Overall, the content of the course is complete but very condensed and logical. Lessons are divided into modules with topics covering English teaching, whether in the classroom or online. In addition to vocabulary, grammar, and English skills, you can also learn how to plan lesson plans, arrange classrooms or motivate students. I don't have much time but completed the course in about one month, very fast and convenient. In short, the course is very useful and the cost is reasonable.

So I started this class training because of my daughters interest in teaching however when I was researching programs I found this one. Easy to sign up. Certified accredited. Was easy to choose which program was good for me. They even have a jobs portal. I applied to 2 places and hopefully I’ll hear something soon. I like the learning and teaching platform provided hints to use for when you are starting out. This was a great refresher for me as well as I used to struggle with punctuation.

I really enjoyed taking this tefl course and the 20 hours teaching practice gave me confidence and some much needed experience. ITT's partnered school gave me a lot of training before teaching actual students. I was very nervous at first but after the 2nd lesson I felt confident the my Chinese student warmed to me quickly. I finished my 20 hours practice and was able to carry on working for the company teaching 5 lessons a week at $20 an hour. I am looking forward to teaching Korean students in Seoul in my next chapter. Thank you ITT for a great experience.

My experience during the online course was excellent because of parts of teaching that I was not aware of. A lot of resources were suggested that would make life easier during a teaching abroad experience. Comparing to what other TEFL programs people have taken and the knowledge I gained, I believe this one is the most complete and resourceful. Specially if you want to take teaching seriously and make a difference for the students while you teach.

It was a good course. One of my friend recommended this course to me and I am glad she did. The course is designed in a way that can help and motivate teachers become useful and helpful for students. This course helped me understand that taking care of students and being kind to them is important that help students grow. A lot of important and useful skills, methods and techniques that teachers can apply were taught. Whenever I emailed to TEFL advisor and had any questions, the course advisor was very helpful and I always got a reply.

I think that some people have the naive assumption that being a native English speaker qualifies them as an English teacher. On the contrary, as I have learned throughout the process of this course, explaining the rules of English grammar to the initiate is far more challenging than simply knowing how to use them yourself. The course opened my mind to the complexities and challenging nature of the task that lies ahead. I feel that taking this course is a great first step on the path to what will become a successful teaching career. Most of the units were interesting. I especially liked learning about the different philosophies of language instruction have been developed over the years. In one of the earlier units, for example, Noam Chomsky's theory of universal grammar is discussed in detail.
