This course aims to prepare students to design and manufacture theatrical costumes, ranging from the simplest to the most complex patterns. The instructional program begins with the study of the basics of modeling, and it proceeds with the transfer of darts, sizes, and allowances. After a preliminary skill, they learn to create patterns of period costumes and manufacture them using the appropriate cloth and fabrics. They study fibers and yarns to simplify the realization of the pattern. Thanks to this program, our students can face the realities of the working world as professionals upon completing the course.
