I had a very fun time.
February 07, 2026by: Jun Djaman - GermanyI went to Panorama Mountain Resort in BC Canada and had an exciting time meeting new people, snowboarding and enjoying life. The given accommodation was very nice and also a good way to meet some new people.
time of my life
February 02, 2026by: Daniel Gruber - AustriaMy journey through the Rocky Mountains has been absolutely unforgettable. Being surrounded by towering peaks, endless forests, and fresh mountain air every single day feels unreal. The landscapes are breathtaking and constantly remind me how powerful and beautiful nature can be. Working at a ski resort makes the experience even better. I spend my days in the mountains, meet people from all over the world, and enjoy a job that never feels boring. The mix of outdoor work, great teamwork, and unforgettable ski days has made this adventure one of the most exciting and rewarding experiences of my life.
Greatest Winter Season
January 08, 2026by: Loreen Jantzen - GermanyMy time here in Canada is wonderful, I got interviewed by Internex Pacific to work in Hospitality at a Ski Resort, so I always meet new people. As a Restaurantspecialist with experience on a cruiseship, I already saw much of the world, but I can for sure say Canada is one of my favourite places also because of the people living here. Living here in Invermere at a Lakehouse is awesome, because the owner are really friendly and we have much space around the house.
My Unforgettable experience in the Canadian Mountains
May 21, 2025by: Aron Horemans - BelgiumDuring my gap year, I had the incredible opportunity to work abroad in the Canadian mountains. Surrounded by amazing landscapes I gained hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. Whether assisting guests at a ski resort or living in the mountains, I developed valuable skills in teamwork, adaptability, and communication. The process for applying for an internship was made really easy as I was offered all the help I needed. This experience helped me grow personally but also professionally and I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about doing an internship abroad.
I had a amazing experience in Banff either summer or winter.

Working in a winter wonderland
March 10, 2023by: Lara-Sophie Rennert - GermanyEven before graduating High-School in the summer of 2022 I knew I wanted to spend the Winter working in Canada. I thoroughly searched the internet and came across a german organisation that is partnering with Internex Pacific. I started planning with Internex and before I knew, I was deep inside the Rocky Mountains serving people drinks and Food while always being able to watch people Ski and also beig able to Ski whenever I am available. The communication with Internex was really easy and always helpful whenever I had questions. Internex hepled me to get settled with a job and accomodation. Through this accomodation and because we were able to contact people who chose Internex as well I was able to find a girl who was going to the same resort and who was catching the same flights as me. Having Roommates also helped getting in touch with people, so I am really greatful I got set up with accomodation as well. Working in such a beautiful place was a blessing and I am thankful for the easy communication Internex offered. I would choose to travel with Internex again!

Living my best live in Canada ??
March 03, 2023by: Annika Engelke - GermanyMy time here in Canada started in mid-October 2022 :) But I was glad that I already knew at that point that I was going to Banff and that I could work at Sunshine Village in the rentals. So I was able to take care of where my year abroad was going from home, which made everything much easier I love skiing and at that point I really wanted to improve my English skills, so what could be better than a stay abroad in the Rockies, where I have skiing as a hobby and can still work in rentals at the same time. ? In addition, the nature here in Banff is incredibly beautiful and definitely recommended. In my free time I love of course skiing, ice skating in lake Louise or just walking in the beautiful nature. Banff also offers many wonderful restaurants and pubs where you can meet up with friends in the evening. I'm glad I chose internex and can have such a great time in Banff as a result.

Extraordinary adventure!
February 21, 2023by: Kato Rabaut - BelgiumWhen I graduated college in Belgium in June 2022 I knew that I wanted to go out and explore more. Since I had done my internship in Vancouver from February - June 2022 (also with Internex) I already had had a small taste of the Canadian life and I really enjoyed it. That's why I decided to come back on a working holiday visa, but I had no clue where I wanted to work. The only thing that I knew for sure was that I wanted to live close to Vancouver to keep in touch with my old friends. After reconnecting with Internex, they suggested me I could do a job in a ski-resort. I had zero experience in skiing or boarding so I was a bit sceptical at first, but I decided to just go for it. There were multiple resorts I could choose, but there was one resort in particular that immediately caught my attention. It was a smaller resort, close to Vancouver and it has been one of the best decisions I ever made in my life! I worked as a lift operator and had the chance to work with amazing people in an amazing environment and I could ski multiple days a week. I am really glad I made this decision and would recommend everyone to do the same!

Living my best life in Canada
February 16, 2023by: Tessa Thiele - GermanyHi, I finished school in the summer and didn't want to rush into University. I wanted to live my life first and wanted to experience another country and its culture, so I decided to do a gap year. Work and travel seemed to be a good fit. After research, I decided to not plan this on my own, because there was a lot to consider, so I went with Internex Pacific. They help me a lot with the application for my visa, and helped me to find a job and an apartment. As I have qualified myself for a job and accommodation with roommates, my journey started. I was looking forward to begin a new chapter of my life and settled in quickly. Through Internex, I found a job in a ski resort in BC. I couldn´t imagine a better job for the season, especially because I can basically ski whenever i want to. After my first day of work, I´ve met a lot of lovely people, who have the same mindset to just have a good time here. My roommates who are also Germans helped me settle in, as our daily life reminds me of home. Peeks of doing Work and travel with Internex is, that you always have a person to contact, if u are not feeling well or if there are any problems. I would choose to travel with Internex again.

It was such a great experience
February 13, 2023by: Mario Letz - AustriaI really enjoyed my time abroads and I would do it everytime again. The travel agency really helped me booking everything and they provided an excellent service. The time I spent in Lake Louise and the people I met here where just fantastic and I would recommend everybody doing the same and I really have to say a big thanks to Internex for their amazing support.
Something I should of done sooner!
January 08, 2023by: Abbie Nicholson - United KingdomAfter graduating then working & living in London for 3 years, I knew that I needed to take a break and do something completely new. After exploring my options, I found that getting a visa for Canada would be the best idea, however, I had no idea where to start! So I started to look for help and came across Internex via GoAbroad. Chris was extremely helpful and guided us through the process, helping myself & my boyfriend secure a job together at a ski resort in the Rocky Mountains within weeks - we we're even able to secure staff accommodation, which has been great, and enabled us to make new friends instantly. The transition and journey from the UK to Canada was easier than I had expected, and I can attribute that to the help of Chris from Internex. After being here for nearly 2 months, I feel completely at home! Canada and the resort is more beautiful than I could imagine, and being able to learn to ski on my days off is definitely a new experience. I would recommend this to everyone.
Our time in a ski resort in BC!
June 18, 2022by: Lucy Kauffelt - GermanyMe and my best friend always wanted to do a year abroad together. We decided to go to Canada and it was the best decision! We worked as a Lift Attendant and a Server in a ski resort in BC. We lived together in a staff accommodation with two other guys. We met a lot of people and gained experience for our life. We got a free season pass so we could ski and board everyday! We really enjoyed our time there and miss every single person. Thanks a lot to everyone who helped us!
I had a great time
May 20, 2022by: Christopher Lippold - BelgiumI stayed in Lake Louise for 6 months and had a great time with lots of nice people. I really enjoyed the Canadian winter and all the snowboarding that I could do. It was a delight to be able to work with such hospitable people and to find friends for life. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone willing to experience something new and challenging in life. This experience has broadened my horizons.
The best decision after leaving high school - A Gap Year in Canada
May 20, 2022by: Jan Krone - GermanyI had a great time in the middle of the Rocky’s. Chris really found the perfect spot for me to make new experiences, see special places and meet new people that I‘ll probably stay in contact with for the rest of my life! Lake Louise offered a great experience and I would do anything to take such a step again. I worked in a great and respectful working environment and was really honored to experience the Canadian culture.

Great time in Canada
May 20, 2022by: Hannes Möhring - GermanyExperience was great, spent a bunch of time skiing and hiking with friends and the job was good as well. I met many new friends and I’m not even done yet. The money I was able to save up will be enough for me to spend some time travelling afterwards. I’m even planning to go up to Alaska and go through all of canada from west to east.
The time of my life
May 19, 2022by: Johanna Wiggeshoff - GermanyI traveled to Canada and worked in a four star hotel in lovely Lake Louise. I spent my days snowboarding before I had to work and I met so many new people and easily made friends! Even work itself was awesome, great environment and I had the best coworkers. At the moment I am still travelling Canada and the States with my new friends I met in lake Louise. I regret nothing, it was definitely the best decision to take a gap year and go to Canada

Great first time in Canada
April 03, 2022by: Anton Wieczorek - GermanyHi there, I have been to Panorama Mountain Resort in the beautiful British Columbia. I spent one winter season here and overall it was a good time and I made some great memories. The Location is pretty sick to spend a Winter in Canada and I bet it is the same during the summer. Thanks to the free ski pass I was able to improve my skiing skills a lot and it is just amazing to have the time and opportunity to explore the whole resort throughout the season. Internex helped me a lot to get the Job and to have a safe and organized entry into Canada, without it I would have been completely lost at the first time. So thank you for the support!
Great start to my Canadian adventure!
January 27, 2022by: Rebekka Polley - GermanyIt was a great decision to come out to Canada and start working right away. That way, I was able to get myself situated in a new country and right away met a lot of new people. Work here is great, we were welcomed to the resort and now have found our way into the new systems. And now I just started to ski and can't wait to get out as much as possible to improve and eventually get up to Summit. That surely is the goal! Preparing for my time abroad was really good, I felt really well prepared and guided through the visa application process and getting ready to come out. I can't wait to see what else this year has in store and see what I will experience!

Unexpected amazing experience
November 30, 2021by: Eleonora Galati - ItalyChris from Internex has been able to help me and support me during the whole visa application process. I appreciate the fact that Internex allowed me to apply even if I have an Italian passport, while most of the agencies only accepted applicants from Commonwealth member countries. Moreover, Internex was a lot cheaper than the other agencies I enquired about, but I got the exact same results. Due to covid, this year the only way to get an invitation to apply for a Canadian work permit was to submit a valid offer of employment in advance to the government. Thanks to Chris I had 2 successful interviews and found the perfect job at a ski resort in Banff, where I am living now. Living and working on the top of a mountain at a ski resort is amazing, it's something I would suggest trying at least once in your life. I am literally living a dream. The visa process went smooth, and Chris was always answering my emails very quickly, addressing any concerns and doubts, and once I got to Canada I didn't have any problems. He was always present to tell me what I had to do and where I had to go to get my paperwork done. Honestly, at the beginning I wasn't sure whether to trust Internex or not, but after I received some positive feedback from people who already had an international experience through them I decided to apply, and now I am so happy about it. I would totally recommend the agency. I think I would have never made it here without them.

Having an awesome time
September 13, 2021by: Mark Kievits - NetherlandsStaying and working here in the mountains of British Columbia, staying and staff accommodation and working 5 days a week in the General Store of the resort, which is awesome way to meet and communicate with guests and fellow staff members, on the free time in your weekend, you can go explore the area as far as you can go in the free time you got, or relax at home if you want to save some money

I spent all of 2019 in Australia on a working holiday visa and really loved the whole experience of it, so I wanted to spend another year abroad in some other country that also offered the same type of visa.
