Excellent Experience!
August 12, 2026by: jamie jones - United StatesI received excellent support from beginning to end. Any questions that I had were answered quickly and thoroughly. The support person I had in Morocco was excellent- well-trained, kind, effective, available, and I was checked in on regularly. He helped make me feel settled, safe, and supported in the role. The home I stayed in exceeded my expectations - the room was great, the food was amazing, and the family was kind. I will do another program, and I recommend the organization 100%. I highly recommend arriving early so that it can be arranged for acclimation to the time zone, the weather, and the surrounding area. It was very helpful not only to sleep off the jet lag before starting the program, but also to identify where things like markets and other resources were located.

My IVHQ Morocco Experience: Confidence in Childcare
February 25, 2026by: Ludwig Fisch - CanadaIVHQ offered me all the support I needed for the build up to my trip. Any questions or concerns I might have had about my particular program were answered promptly and with great detail. Everything about my program was laid out perfectly and I felt incredibly confident at the start date of my program. Will 1000% be doing another project through them! Visiting Morocco was a new experience to me and I have never felt safer and more capable of my abilities than with IVHQ. I highly recommend anyone considering the programs offered by the company to register. It is an experience like no other!
The most beautiful trip I’ve ever experienced
January 07, 2026by: Daniela Rodriguez Mäki - SwedenI recently came back from my first volunteer and solo trip in Morocco. It was such a beautiful and heart warming experience, and I would recommend this to anyone that is interested. IVHQ organized everything very well and I felt so safe during my whole stay. I will definitely do this again and I already miss it all so much!!

The children impacted me more than I could have imagined
January 24, 2023by: Samantha CianiI would tell those who are still hesitant about volunteering abroad to absolutely go for it! I was very hesitant about it at first as this was a new program to me and I had never met any of the people who were running the program in person before. However, I can’t even imagine if I had decided not to do it. I am forever impacted by this trip and I will absolutely be volunteering with IVHQ again! The biggest impact that this trip has had on me was how it opened my mind to so much more and made me realise that there is a whole world that is outside of the small town I live in. I came into this program hoping to make an impact on the children who attended the Childcare project. However, it was the children who ended up impacting me more. The first time I walked through the door they greeted me with excitement and instantly started calling me 'teacher' and giving me hugs. They made me feel so warm and important and I will never forget the impact they had on me everyday.
IVHQ was the best thing I’ve ever done
December 13, 2022by: Sarah DuganIVHQ was the best thing I’ve ever done and I can’t wait to choose my destination for next year! The local team went above and beyond for us and our host family provided us with a very warm, safe and comfortable environment. Walking into the daycare every morning and seeing how excited the kids were to see us had to be my favourite moment.
Simply incredible!
August 16, 2018by: Shivali Chotai - United KingdomIncredible organisation which fully supports you throughout your volunteering! Had a brilliant experience where every step of the way the IVHQ team were available to provide you with any information you required. Whilst on the trip the local team made you feel really comfortable and welcome. They also provided recommendations for weekend and evening trips which was really helpful! Really would recommend IVHQ to anyone wanting to make a difference and also have a holiday abroad- what a better mix?
Thanks for taking the time to write your review Shivali! It sounds like you really made the most of your time in Morocco, and experienced everything on offer on what is a vibrant location. Claire - IVHQ Program Manager.
