Award Winning TEFL Courses for Teaching English in Germany

I have not begun my job search abroad yet, however with ITA I feel confident and well-prepared to take that step. They re fantastic for job search guidance and information on which countries are the best to apply to, and how to make the process as easy as possible.

The course was full of useful information and I feel like I learned a lot. I know that the aspects that I learned in lesson planning and classroom management I will be able to implement when I am finally able to begin teaching abroad. I feel prepared now that the course is over. As long as you are able to manage your time, the course is fairly easy and it expands your thinking for teaching and lesson planning. I had an overall excellent experience!

This program has taught me so much about teaching. The staff was friendly and willing to help from start to finish. I choose to take an online course which was great for my availability if I had more time I think an in-person class would have been more beneficial for me and my learning style. I do recommend this institution and the online course. The instructor was there every step of the way making this the best online course that I have taken.

The TEFL/TESOL course is an excellent course for new teachers. I enjoyed the course content. The course content had all the necessary tools and learning materials for students to navigate in the English Language teaching profession. It provided a deepening understanding of the teaching profession and how a teacher should relate to students in the classroom. Additional links and videos were provided to enhance the student's mind in the teaching profession.

This course will equip with all the knowledge and skills you need to teach ESL/EFL classes. My encounter with the staff was great I was well informed of what to expect and receive regular feedback of my work. I am really thankful to ITA!

The class went by quick, but gave good information. The only part that I had a problem with was the creating practice grading rubrics, but the advice given to me by my instructor helped me improve that aspect.

I decided to take the online TEFL certification course. I was really impressed with the amount of content was relevant in the reading. As a public school teacher, I even used some of the strategies in the reading. All of my interactions whether on the phone or over email were very positive. I am very much prepared to teach overseas!w

I took ITA's TEFL course with Luke and Melanie (along with other wonderful teachers) in Costa Rica and I would recommend it without a doubt! They were extremely knowledgeable and experienced professionals who went above and beyond my expectations while preparing us to become English teachers. I truly felt ready and confident about where and how to apply, attending interviews and most importantly how to prepare lesson plans and become a successful teacher. It was an intense course but definitely worth it. Plus you also get experience while in the course with your practicum. I had the pleasure of teaching high school students, homestay families and other adults who were looking to improve their English to have better job opportunities. You will definitely learn a lot and not regret it!

The course was overall good. I had learned many things that I have experienced but was not aware of. I would recommend this course to a friend or person interested in being TEFL certified. This course has met my expectation and hope to take this knowledge and apply it to effectively teach students abroad.

I haven't been overseas just yet but I do feel prepared to do so in terms of teaching. The course has been very thorough and there is a vast variety of information. I plan on going to Latin America and Europe to teach. I will definitely keep in touch with my adviser and the rest of the TEFL crew :) Wish me luck :)

Despite being a teacher for over 5 years, this course was a great refresher and even helped me hone some of my skills and reflect on the hows and whys of teaching. Overall, fantastic experience for new teachers and old.

Provides sufficient information. I’m currently working on a Masters in Education and honestly, some of the material I found here has proved more useful than my graduate courses! Overall, the online experience was a great option that works around my schedule. I completed everything on my iPad and felt good after completing a chapter each weekend. I highly recommend the online courses for TEFL certification!

ITA provides everything you could every need to not only be the best you can be but also get the best position suitable for you. If you are on the fence about choosing ITA simply speak with an adviser, they are very well informed and will answer any questions or concerns you may have.

The International TEFL Academy is an incredible program that is dedicated to creating amazing English teachers. The program is not difficult to get into and their staff is very friendly and accessible. I feel like my teacher does care about quality learning and the lessons are all very informative. I'd recommend ITA to a friend who was also interested in teaching English abroad.

Through taking TEFL Academy's online course, I feel much more knowledgeable and equipped to teach English. Some people think that if you can speak a language, then you can teach it. Well...it's a bit more complicated than that. TEFL Academy does a good job of giving you the information and experience that you need in order to succeed in becoming an English teacher.

It was real hard work to finish this TEFL course and respect all the due dates with those many tasks throughout the course. Sometimes I was almost reaching my limits and could just scream out of despair. I wouldn't have thought that I would be able to make it and get such good grades at the same time! I was really surprised and happy about my results each week. But it was hard, very hard. As a non-native speaker of English, I had the disadvantage of having to worry about making linguistic mistakes and fall behind. I always had and have the pressure of wanting to be perfect in mastering the language, just like the other TEFL students or graduates who are native speakers. I hope I can find my way and be a good teacher even with a different cultural background!

Not only was this course very helpful and enlightening on good teaching methods for ESL, it also provides great insight for teaching any subject. The textbook is great, the course is accredited which is a must, and they are very helpful and guiding during the whole process. Their alumni program is unbelievable. I am very happy to have taken this course.

I am not an experienced TEFL/ESL teacher. I am just finishing up my course. I am looking forward to search for TEFL jobs and gaining some real world experience. I have always been interested in travel and the world. Now I can get my chance to experience it and help others learn my native language of English. I love my language and I am happy to help others who want to grow in their knowledge of it. I hope to have some great stories to share with other TEFL teachers once I get that experience under my belt. Before taking this class I couldn't see myself as a teacher. I thought it wasn't possible because while I have a degree it is not in English, but throughout this course there is ton of encouragement from past students, instructors, and current students. I feel that I learned a lot through the course and definitely think that it is possible for me to teach now. Following the newsletter is also a huge motivator. Every time I read one of the stories from the newsletters I get excited to start my own journey.

As someone who dreams of traveling abroad and teaching English, International TEFL Academy was a great place to turn to. Aside from school, I didn't have any practical knowledge of what it would take to get to another country and begin teaching there but also what skills I would need in the classroom. Each week our classes broke it down for us about what we would need as teachers to teach English successfully to a variety of students, from the absolute beginners to the advanced learners. The instructors are always eager to lend a hand if you need any help throughout the course and they are full of passion and knowledge that is clearly demonstrated in the course.
