Get TEFL Certified & Teach English in Colombia

This class was really informative and helped me a lot. Before I took this course I was a little skeptical about how it would prepare me to teach my own class but I was surprised at how much it taught me. The instructor was great and helped with anything I needed and the content itself was amazing. I really have no problems whatsoever with the course.

I had retired and didn’t know what I wanted to do with the rest of my time. I did some research, contacted the school and was contacted by a ITA Advisor and she answered all my questions over the period of a year. She was very patient! This was a great class. I highly recommend the online class to anyone.

I had a great experience with the International TEFL Academy (ITA)! The online TEFL course I thought was informative, effective, and affordable. The academic staff of this school are more than qualified to teach the classes and they are extremely helpful. One thing that is still impressing me about ITA is their alumni network and social media interconnectedness. They are effectively leveraging their alumni network and social media to bring real stories of teachers abroad to individuals. Lastly, the lifetime job search guidance is very useful when it comes to looking for jobs. It is great to know there is an expert to talk to in case I have any questions during my teaching adventure.

This was an amazing experience in every aspect and encourage all that are on the fence to take your chances and go for it!!! You will not be disappointed with your decision. A friend and I decided to do this together so if you are feeling uncomfortable or nervous maybe grab a friend and try it that way.

It was very specific and detailed which I loved about the program. My enrollment adviser answered all my 1,000 questions patiently. Even in the course my teacher made me feel comfortable asking questions about assignments. The work is hard but dignifying. I have watched myself come a long way with their help. Its been an amazing experience!!

Very helpful and definitely worth it! The online course was easy to use with my busy schedule and I learned a lot. I've recommended it to many of my friends. The instructor was great and very encouraging, and I received helpful feedback on my assignments.

Excellent TEFL online course. It may be expensive compared to some TEFL courses out there but I definitely think it's worth what you pay for. You're paying for qualified instructors, the excellent job guidance they offer for life, and all the resources. The site is also very easy to navigate. For the lessons, it's not just texts but also videos as well. They make it interactive so you don't get bored with the content. The instructors are amazing and someone will always help you if you have any questions with anything.

It was a good experience over all! I did all the course work online while working full time 40- 60 hours a week, The course took me more time during the week than I anticipated but I really enjoyed it and I really liked my Instructor.

Very helpful from before you even sign up to the end of job searching! They reviewed my resume and guided me to the best approach to my job search. My teacher ignited my desire to travel abroad and even wrote me a recommendation to one of my programs.

Very informative and helpful course. I am so glad something like this exists, I don't know what I would do without it! I have been wanted to learn Spanish in a country it is spoken in for a long time now but did not know how to make it reality. This gives me the opportunity to learn and teach at the same time! I never really thought of becoming a teacher but this really opened my eyes to a whole new opportunity. I would seriously recommend it to anyone who wants to go abroad but doesn't know where to begin. It was enlightening and I felt very supported. I can't wait for this next adventure!

I highly recommend ITA, International TEFL Academy. The materials and resources in the online TEFL class were absolutely wonderful, complete, and up to date with all the newest techniques. The tasks and projects were interesting and informing. The class challenged me way more than I expected, and I was grateful for that challenge. I learned about grammar, teaching techniques, how to make ESL fun for everybody, and how to handle difficulties professionally. Now I feel ready to jump into a new career of helping others learn English. Highly recommended.

I was not sure what to expect with this course and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of resources and information I received from this course throughout the semester. I take with me so many valuable and priceless lessons when I begin to teach abroad. I know I would have been lost without the guidance from this course and the instructor. The instructor was awesome. She really went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed to succeed. I would recommend this course to everyone! : )

Thanks so much, ITA. The online course was affordable, and I appreciate that I can do a Young Learners/Business English module and have job search guidance for FREE. Thank you to my ITA instructor - she was always there to answer my questions, even on the day of or day before the assignment was due! The information that I have been taught is invaluable and it trains you to be a great TEFL teacher. Also, I can draw up lesson plans faster than what I can 11 weeks ago. Thanks for everything, ITA!

I am ready to teach and travel! I feel very much prepared for my next life chapter. My TEFL International teacher was knowledgeable, the homework and readings were relevant and I'm so happy that practicum was required. It was a lot of work, but in the end it's worth it.

The course is in depth and informative, it prepares you for many circumstances and gives you ways of teaching for certain learning types. If you take this course you will be prepared and ready to be a successful teacher!

I am so glad that I decided to get my certification through ITA. Not only do I now feel more comfortable and qualified to teach English abroad, but I have also now made a new family. I am extremely grateful for everyone on the staff that I have interacted with, for they have been nothing but nice to me since day one, and they have encouraged me more than anyone else has. Every activity or assignment that they had us complete was insightful, informative, and stimulating. My instructor was great, and I would definitely take this course again if needed. Honestly, I can not speak highly enough of ITA! I am very grateful for all of their hard work, and the amazing opportunities that they present us with!

If it wasn't for my friend who had just completed his year teaching English in Taiwan through TEFL I wouldn't have been here. Hearing about his experience made me want to sign up with TEFL immediately and go out and explore the world. Taking this course not only helped me learn more about what it's like to teach outside of the US but also what to expect in regards to culture and differences world wide. Needless to say, once I officially receive my certificate , I will be applying for jobs in Taiwan and plan to be teaching English as a Foreign language in less than 6 months thanks for TEFL!

I found this course to be stimulating and exciting. I didn't quite know what to expect, or how I would do in the course, as this is a change in career for me, but I really enjoyed the process and feel like I have learned a lot and come a long way in the ten weeks. I feel prepared, excited and ready to teach abroad and start the process.
