Wonderful Experience!
November 27, 2023by: Flora Allum - United KingdomI really enjoyed working with ‘You Can Camp’! Each day was varied and exciting and I gained a lot of skills while working and playing with the children. This opportunity is a great way to learn more about Italian culture and meet new and like minded people. I hope to volunteer there again!
I had the most incredible experience of my life
November 23, 2023by: Nabila El-Barazi - IrelandI am a college student and was looking for an opportunity to expand my skills with people. I can across You Can Camp and applied, the application process was simple and I zoomed with Sara, the owner, she explained the proceed to me and set any worries I had aside. I had the most incredible experience, meeting people I will be friends with for life. The day to day living is impeccable. If you have any issues, someone is always there to help. Do not worry if you have no experience, I did not and the other counsellors as well as the Italian translators are on hand to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible. All in all the best summer of my life and I highly recommend!
Unforgettable experience
November 21, 2023by: Natalia Filipowicz - PolandAs someone who had the privilege to work at You Can Camp for two incredible weeks, I can wholeheartedly say it was a memorable and exceptional experience. From day one, the staff members welcomed me with warmth and friendliness that is hard to come by. In just a short span of two weeks, these wonderful people turned from colleagues to friends, and eventually, they felt like an extended Italian family, always ready to welcome you with open arms. But what truly made my time at You Can Camp extraordinary were the kids. They are, without exaggeration, the most delightful, spirited, and adorable bunch you could ever meet. The emotional bond that forms between the teachers and these young learners is profound and hard to put into words. It's a connection that transcends language barriers and cultural differences, resulting in something truly special. As my days at the camp drew to a close, the goodbyes were, as expected, tear-filled and emotional. It’s not every day you find a place that leaves such a lasting imprint on your heart. I left with countless memories, a heart full of joy, and a deep appreciation for the unique, nurturing, and joyful environment that You Can Camp creates. It’s more than just a camp, it’s a place where hearts connect, and lifelong memories are made.
Life-changing, beautiful experience!
November 21, 2023by: Sadaf Sarwari - United StatesI've been lucky enough to volunteer at this camp for two summers now. The love and compassion of the staff, the well-equipped and thoroughly planned activity schedule, and the phenomenal people (kids and grown-ups alike!) I've gotten to meet and work with have really made this program stand out from others. This camp has really allowed me to grow in confidence and experience teaching in a way that has solidified my desire to pursue a career in education in the future. Very grateful to the staff for their kindness and endless support, both inside and outside of camp.

You Can Camp: Cultural Immersion and Camp Experience Like No Other
November 21, 2023by: Kyrsten B - United StatesYoucan camp was such a wonderful experience. The first day you are given rooming and then a hands on orientation, getting to meet so many amazing people. The days after you live at the camp, where you teach a couple of groups a day, work on video projects, and play games and activities with kids all day! Everything is well spaced out and well structured, I never really felt burnt out. You are given breaks and have so much time to get to know all of the people and kids you work with. I’d highly recommend this experience for anyone in education or wanting to work with kids in fun and engaging ways! On top of all that, the people are just amazing, and absolutely felt like family by the end of the experience. Sarah and Mike cared for us like their own and made everything so great and memorable. Overall, the whole thing was life changing with the cultural immersion and connections I’ve made, and am looking into returning next summer:) I have no doubt You Can camp will continue to thrive and hope more great people take a chance on being a part of it!

Experience wonder
November 21, 2023by: Jurec Mulder - South AfricaWhenever I think about what I experienced at You Can Camp, I am in wonder. I enjoyed the scenery, the activities, the food, but most importantly meeting and connecting with students from all over Italy. Crying on the last night is not uncommon. You don't want the students to leave. You wouldn't want to leave. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves teaching, meeting new people, traveling, and forming intercultural friendships. Friendships, I say, because the students and the counselors become friends. I hope you consider coming to You Can Camp, and that when you come, you too will experience wonder. PS I have too many photos so just come see it for yourself

It was a great opportunity to teach in person in Italy and even meet some of my online students! The food was amazing, the rooms were nice and clean! The swimming pool was a very big highlight! I will 100% be going back ?
Life changing experience
November 20, 2023by: Kitty Cooper - EnglandEverything about this camp was fantastic and I couldn't stop talking about it when I got home. The staff are friendly, supportive and encouraging; the other counsellors became instant friends and the kids were brilliant! My room was perfect and there is so much food, not to forget the huge pool we can use too. All the material and games are provided and you get an induction on how to use everything too. Super supportive and friendly atmosphere so I felt confident from the start. Would definitely recommend to anyone that likes working with children, having fun and experiencing a new culture.
