The cardiology team was incredible in constantly teaching me about cardiac conditions and explaining more complex concepts to me. They were very friendly and made sure that I felt welcome. There were also ample of opportunities for me to practice hands on skills, such as venepuncture, ECG and echocardiographies.

This internship was an incredible experience that opened my eyes to the world of healthcare in ways I never expected. It gave me a deeper understanding of the field and truly confirmed that a career in healthcare is the right path for me. I was able to see firsthand how healthcare professionals make a difference in people’s lives, and that experience was both inspiring and motivating. Beyond the professional growth, I also gained a new sense of independence and confidence in myself. I had the opportunity to meet and connect with so many amazing people from different backgrounds, and the friendships I made were just as impactful as the skills I learned. This internship not only helped shape my career goals, but also helped me grow as a person. It was truly an amazing experience.
