As a global city with internship placements in business, media, and so much more, Dublin is the perfect place for your semester-long internship abroad. Our program guarantees an unpaid, for-credit, 12-week internship placement of up to 32 hours a week in the field of your choice. Before you go, we work with you to find the ideal internship placement that fulfills your career goals. If we don’t currently work with a business or organization in your field of interest, we will search for a placement that’s right for you.
Build a global network of professional contacts and gain real-world experience all while exploring everything that Dublin has to offer. An IES Internship abroad develops your professional skills, your ability to communicate across cultures, and provides substantive work experience to jump-start your career in today’s competitive job market.

Live with other interns and students in fully furnished apartments well-located in central Dublin.
Join IES Abroad-organized field trips to discover the culture and traditions of Ireland beyond the city.
Participate in the three-credit internship seminar with other IES Abroad interns, where you will discuss and examine cultural issues in and outside the workplace.
