Join Our Law, Advocate & Human Rights Project in Malawi
Program Overview
Join our legal internship in Mzuzu, Malawi, where we focus on fighting injustice and supporting vulnerable women and children through legal aid and human rights advocacy. Work alongside certified lawyers in a local law firm committed to real change, contributing directly to meaningful legal cases.
Located in the scenic northern region of Malawi, the firm offers interns a chance to explore the local culture while working in a professional legal environment. You’ll live with the hosting lawyer's family, gaining a deeper connection to the community.
We provide training and mentorship from experienced attorneys to help you understand Malawian law, court procedures, and community-based legal advocacy.
As an intern, you may:
• Assist clients in preparing for court
• Help explain legal processes and rights
• Advocate for women facing domestic abuse
• Support case management and draft legal opinions
• Lead human rights awareness workshops in the community
This program offers a unique, immersive legal experience that combines professional growth with social impact.
