Social Entrepreneurship Internship in Malawi

The Malawi Social Entrepreneurship Internship provides aspiring social entrepreneurs with a fantastic opportunity to receive hands-on experience in the development and operation of an impactful social enterprise. This internship gives you the opportunity to work in a lovely setting along Lake Malawi while also contributing to relevant social impact efforts.

Applicants should have a strong interest in social enterprises and a strong commitment to the organization's goals. They should approach activities with an entrepreneurial mindset and be adept at strategic planning. Also, it is important to be open to new challenges and capable of working independently and creatively.

You will assist in business development, market research, designing and executing marketing campaigns, collecting on-the-ground data to assess impact, contributing to monitoring and evaluation efforts, assisting in fundraising and stakeholder management, assisting with human resources activities, and potentially assisting in product development.

This internship offers several valuable learning outcomes, including practical experience, comprehensive understanding, field-based impact work, and international work experience that broaden cultural awareness, and develop skills in cross-cultural communication and collaboration.

The program cost varies based on the duration of the internship. Specific start and end dates are flexible and will be discussed during the selection process. 2023 rates are as follows:

• 4 months: $2,090
• 5 months: $2,382
• 6 months: $2,673

If you're considering a remote internship, there will be a $525 placement fee.
