I felt happy and good in the projects and also at the gecko / free time. At the daycare I would write exercises in their books, corrected their homework, played games, dancing and singing with the kids.

They really care about you

The kids came voluntarily and could escape from the hard housework, we would never do in our society at their age. It was just so touching to see their smiling faces.... In Malawi there is no "hello" to greet someone. They say "how is your day/evening/morning?". And the most impressive thing is: They really care about you, even when they are strangers.
