Teaching Volunteer Placement in Ghana

Program Overview

As a volunteer in this program, you'll have the opportunity to teach in private, government, or mission schools at the primary, junior high, or senior high level, based on their preference. Subjects may include English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Business Management. While school staff provide guidance on lesson planning and curriculum, volunteers are encouraged to bring teaching materials, such as picture books, flashcards, art supplies, or musical instruments, to enrich the classroom experience.

Volunteers do not need formal teaching qualifications—just a willingness to help, a positive attitude, and a desire to inspire young learners. Your presence enriches the classroom and boosts student confidence, motivation, and academic performance.
