Program Overview

Join a one-of-a-kind volunteer building experience deep in the lush jungles of Dominica. You'll work alongside skilled local carpenters to build cottages and infrastructure for a future healing retreat at our ten-acre dog rescue sanctuary. Using local materials like bamboo, roseau, raw wood, and river stone, you'll help create eco-structures such as bridges, greenhouses, dog shelters, and jungle canopy walkways.

Learn traditional and sustainable building methods, from felling trees and chainsaw milling to bamboo harvesting based on moon cycles. You’ll also gain hands-on knowledge in treating natural materials for durability in a tropical climate.

Friendly rescue dogs roam the land, so a love for animals is essential. This immersive experience blends community, construction, and nature—ideal for adventurers, eco-builders, and those wanting to create something lasting in paradise.
