Volunteer Coordinator and Event Planner Internship in Peru

Together with Globalteer, make a real impact by supporting several charitable projects around the world. Throughout the internship, you’ll gain valuable life and workplace skills under the supervision of our experienced international team.

Key duties and responsibilities:
Ensuring that Globalteer’s volunteers in Cusco have a seamless and well-organized experience during their volunteer placements
Coordinating airport pick-ups, providing town tours and orientations, and being the first point of contact for volunteers on the ground
Familiarizing volunteers with their project and assuring they are comfortable in their duties
Answering inquiries and being the “go-to” for any issues that come up for volunteers during their volunteer placements
Organizing volunteer events and outings outside of project hours
General administration within the Cusco office
37.5-hour work week
Other duties as assigned in support of Globalteer’s charitable objectives

Requirements for this position are:
Fluent spoken and written English
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Problem-solving skills
An outgoing personality
Flexible team player
At least 18 years old
