Explore issues of gender and sexuality by reading, watching, and listening to gender-themed, contemporary artistic productions. In-class work is augmented with visits to the city’s rich cultural institutions and organizations relevant to the theme.
CIEE Copenhagen is located in the city center. Roughly a 5-minute walk takes you to Nørreport station, allowing you to get everywhere you want to go in the city. Being in the heart of Copenhagen, an array of shops and restaurants are also within walking distance of the Study Center.

Studying abroad allows you to take on a new perspective and break stereotypes. I would recommend CIEE because of this and because we were able to dive into the culture by doing day trips and also hearing from locals.
I thought the CIEE staff and resources in Denmark were incredible. I found it to be an expensive program, but given the housing (Nido) and the support given by the staff and canvas page-- it was very worth it.
